CHSU is my only II so far this cycle, and I interviewed on 09/23. I'm an IS applicant for this school, I've lived here my whole life and would love nothing more than to stay in California. Should I send in a letter of intent? Would that in anyway help secure the A?

Don't send unless it actually is your first choice bc if you get an II later in the cycle and you like that school more it looks kind of bad on you (saying this from someone during one of my interviewers, my interviewer said they are good friends with adcoms from schools so there is a chance that they do talk). General consensus is send a LOI if you get waitlisted, because you might get the A without needing one in the first place especially since its been less than 2 weeks since your interview.

Typically etiquette states that a letter of intent is best saved for when you get waitlisted. Reason being is if they would accept you already, it wouldn’t do anything and same thing if they would reject you.

If they waitlist you, then the letter of intent has a chance of tipping the scales. Considering 9/23 is still less than 2-3 weeks ago, sending one now would probably be seen as immature and unprofessional as they need time to decide.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Yeah they got back to me slightly sooner than when I expected to hear back. I interviewed on 9/21. I got the call around 4 PM.

For people who got accepted, how long did it take to receive the Enrollment Agreement email?

My interview was 9/23 and I got accepted 10/5, he said I'd get an email within a few days but I haven't received anything yet
