Being completely impartial, the anon is right though. I think it’s neurotic to try to derive meaning from a “we had a lot of applicants” email…
I think they could have delivered it better, though.

It's an update that their hold has been lifted. Just like when somebody submits, they get an application received confirmation email. That means nothing.

This logic doesn't even make sense though. They have already started sending out IIs. Why waste everyones time (including the AOs) by sending an meaningless email? If they're in consideration they're gonna get an II. Boston isn't shy about sending IIs to people they want to interview (given by the 1000+ IIs they send each cycle).

Hey I hope your interview went well! Mine ended up being ~30 min was it the same for you as well? Idk if it’s stupid of me to worry since we didn’t use up all the time :p
BU rejection wave incoming!!

Everyone who showed up as rejected in cycle results are gone?

I still see them
when i applied last year, i dodged R wave after R wave all the way until february i have no idea what their process is lmao
There's no way they looked at my application. I was a couple days over the two-week submission, but I just recently submitted. And my stats are above them and my activities are a perfect fit to their mission statement. Their loss, so whatever.
Edit: I know it could've ended up as an R later, but given their review protocols and the submission date, it's unlikely this early. I know some schools do this if they receive too many and just R people who submitted over 2 weeks.
