My take: Primarily by completion date, but high stats/strong ECs shoot someone's app to be reviewed sooner, overriding chronological order. As a result, they are able to decide if they want you sooner, leading to rejection. Low stats also lead to faster rejection.
Completion date would make sense I guess, yeah

Are there applicants who got rejected today that didn’t previously receive this delayed review email?
Me
shaking in my boots knowing today’s R wave was a fourth of last year’s logged rejections

same bro based on admit boston gives out interviews chronologically with very little exceptions so I'm pretty sure my R will just come tomorrow or friday :(

You can send them a message through the communication center in their secondary portal. Of course, be polite and let them know why you're asking (to improve your application for the future). That's their method of communication rather than email. They also got back to me within two days. At that point their review load is much less so the dean is super friendly with it.
thank you so much!! i'll prob wait till closer to the end of the cycle - next spring or so - before i ask ig
Are August complete applicants getting rejected? I seemingly survived but was complete August 11th.
thought I was safe after yesterday but got the R right after clocking in to work 😵💫

Hey I hope your interview went well! Mine ended up being ~30 min was it the same for you as well? Idk if it’s stupid of me to worry since we didn’t use up all the time :p
