Does anyone know what this means exactly? In the past, how likely is it to get an offer if you interviewed early and got “eligible” status?

Just speaking from experience as a re-applicant who got this last year- it does not mean an acceptance. It means they may offer you one. I got this, then was waitlisted at #60 and unfortunately did not make it off the waitlist.

I am eligible for the waitlist... so definitely not going to make it then, if they didn't even get through the eligible group. I wonder what the point is for sending out the waitlist even at this point...
