I interviewed on 10/15 so was told that I would not receive a decision until 12/16 but just received an email that I was placed on hold and the next time I might receive a decision is 12/16. Did they just send this to everyone that have and will interview until 12/16 or is this actually waitlist placement?

I believe this just means that they've met to discuss your application; I read somewhere that it means you weren't rejected post-interview. You will receive either an acceptance or a deferral on 12/16.

i submitted in july and haven’t got rejected but also haven’t gotten an II…. does this mean they’ll probably just reject me in april/mayb

I wrote a letter of interest/update letter to VCU but just saw in the FAQ that they don't want these submitted. Anyone have thoughts? I'm pre-II
