i'm so curious why yellow anon deletes their posts on every thread. i guess there may be a "good" reason but it makes reading threads difficult.

Went combing through SDN and app VCU uses a rating system where if you’re above a 3 you get a post-II R. So 60% of interviewees are probably on hold

but like 50-60% get accepted post interview so majority on hold from first batch now get accepted?

They probably only accept 50 each decision day according to SDN. Rest of candidates get deferred to diff decision dates where they are eligible for acceptance. After last decision day, you'll be waitlisted if you didn't get an A

I feel like 50 seems too low since their class size is close to 180. Also, where did the the only 60% on hold the rest rejected come from? Only one person has reported a post-ii R so far

I’m ngl there are probably others who reported but haven’t said anything/or has their profile set to private so others can’t view their stats (also someone made a post on general and there were others who said they were rejected post-II…)

someone commented this on last year’s sdn:

“Admit org and MSAR says

Applications -> Interviews -> Acceptances ->

Matriculated

IS: 1108 -> 310 -> 149 -> 100

OOS: 5274 -> 463 -> 295 -> 75

So IS accepts 48% and OOS accepts 64% of interviews!”

“They took 75 people off the waitlist last year, that’s all they reported”
