anonymous:
I interviewed Sep 2 and got a post-II hold today (Sep 28). It looks pretty standard and like it just means they can't notify you about your status until after October 15.
I'm nervous because I interviewed on the Sep 16th and also got the post-II hold today (Sep 28). It seems a bit too quick...

If they're handing out Rs and you didn't get one don't sweat it

sorry, I thought they would wait until after oct 16
The Oct 15 embargo is on acceptances only so any MD school can notify you of rejection/waitlist before or after an interview whenever they want in the cycle. I interviewed here on Sep 2, got a hold a couple of days ago, and am hoping that means I'm going to either be accepted or on hold with other rounds.

Based on the wording of the email + the fact that someone reported a post-II R, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Looks like you either receive an acceptance or are deferred to another decision date.

They either sent a rejection or a hold, but no acceptances before Oct 16
i'm so curious why yellow anon deletes their posts on every thread. i guess there may be a "good" reason but it makes reading threads difficult.
