Questions I asked to most schools on interview day (not necessarily to sound prepared but just to get a better vibe of the school):

1. What is something about the school that could be a dealbreaker to some/what is the most common complaint about school

2. What impact have students had on the school/curriculum/examples of student feedback being implemented

3. What is the city like, what is there to do, etc.

4. Any curriculum questions, etc. I actually asked one of my interviewers a question that was answered in the pre-interview info session itself but I slightly misunderstood, so if anything I did the opposite of “homework” lol.

Overall I’d say my interviewers were super chill and sweet, I believe they were given a list of questions to pick from and didn’t really deviate/have time to deviate from them that much.

I’ll add on - “What is (insert school) the best in the world at?” Everyone I asked always got excited to answer that one.

Quarter system student who's matriculating in this year - yup, it's fine! That's all I had, and it wasn't an issue. If you look at the FAQ section here, it says the same: https://www.medadmissions.pitt.edu/admissions/you-apply/frequently-asked-questions
