Yes, Pitt is one of the schools that they actually do care if you send thank you notes because it's looked at in a negative way

Don't apologize at all I really appreciate the transparency! I was rejected last cycle, so i'm reapplying this cycle with a new mcat (Score gets in tomorrow). Hoping for a quick turnaround on the secondary and hopefully an interview. Not sure if you're applying again this cycle, but if so, good luck and we got this!

they said at the end of my interview day that they don't check that. it would require the interviewer to log into the portal to check
