I interviewed like the middle of this month but have quite literally been neurotic like this is THE school i wanna go to. can anyone pls give tips on how to calm down. i see sept acceptances have gone out like this week and its gonna take a while for me

You just gotta continue living your life and trust the process. It is a grueling time and everyone in here is with you going through it. If you just interviewed its gonna be awhile before they review your app so try to relax and dissociate from the idea of UNC at least for now and trust in the work you put in.

are you IS or OOS?

For me, I know I’m setting up myself for disappointment and failure if I think any particular med school is THE school or I need to get into a top program. Just getting into a great supportive school is important and I know the right one is waiting to take me! That said, I do love UNC SOM!

Did anyone feel like their interviewers were not particularly personable/did not want to be there? I found it really hard to connect with them, which was surprising because of how kind the students and faculty were.
