yeah they say they pick who they interview carefully. They only interview like 300 and accept 200ish

Does UF have a specific mission fit/ something they look for in applicants? I've interviewed at USF, Miami, FIU, UCF (basically all the Florida schools I applied to) but haven't got an interview from UF so just wondering since their in-state II rate vs OOS shows that they do have a clear IS preference.
Patient-centered, compassionate care. Their secondary questions exemplify what they’re looking for imo. Humanism in medicine

the vibe i got both from research and the interview panels was a perspective of seeing medicine as an art. so maybe a lot of emphasis on connecting to a community, building relationships, etc. etc. much like what the other op said!

Ugh I wish the odds are in my favor for this Friday
Also word on the street was that they over-admitted by 10 last cycle, so those seats are already taken this cycle.
Not sure how much more conservative they’ll be with acceptances though.
