The admissions team, students and interviewers were extremely nice and laid back. My interviewers knew my file well and didn't drill me like at some other schools (esp rochester), felt very conversational.

Does UF have a specific mission fit/ something they look for in applicants? I've interviewed at USF, Miami, FIU, UCF (basically all the Florida schools I applied to) but haven't got an interview from UF so just wondering since their in-state II rate vs OOS shows that they do have a clear IS preference.

They only interview 8% of instate applicants. Luck plays a huge factor tbh.

I dont think first batch of decisions go out until 11/3 tbh
