I'm at 2000 characters out of 4000 for the diversity prompt, and I don't know how to expand on it. Any opinions on whether it is necessary to get close to the max for this kind of prompt?

Quality over quantity. The length doesn't matter. Ask yourself, what traits of mine does this portray to adcoms? If you are satisfied with it then just leave it at that.

How long did it take for reference letters to be verified and marked as complete on portal? Submitted my secondaries 2 weeks after invitation, and my letters are still marked as missing.

Congrats to everyone getting IIs! Just curious tho are these all instate or did anyone OOS get an II today?

Not sure about the rest, but mine was instate.

Also, not sure if others who got ii today are having this problem but there seems to have been a computer glitch with their system with interview scheduling and available times. I was able to reach out and they promptly responded and was able to manually schedule. Good luck all!

I don't have any strong ties to the school! I'm from a nearby southern state but no family living in Florida currently! Some of my close relatives were born and raised in FL so I commented on that!

With UCF secondary prompts being so short (other than the personal statement), I tried to convey a different aspect of my personality and accomplishments in each response since we were so limited.

Honestly though, I was totally shocked to receive an II coming from OOS!
