I had 3x15min interviews. All faculty, all open file. Each was “assigned” a part of my app (clinical exp, service, and research). All my interviewers were very kind and conversational, no tricky questions. Admin made a point of saying this is not an MMI in the traditional sense (no ethical questions, just interviewers getting to know you). Overall easygoing, albeit a bit short. This was their first year trying this format so they seem to be troubleshooting a bit but there’s definitely nothing to stress about, everyone is very personable.

did you have time to ask questions in any of them?

I have a research heavy app but even still they really just asked me to explain one of my research projects before moving on to more reflectiony questions. I can talk pretty expansively abt my research so idk if they would dig into specifics if I didn’t already provide them, but my interviewer mostly asked about my interpersonal experiences in the lab after my initial schpiel

Did you know who the faculty were in advance? Thanks!

I second all of this! And no, didn't know faculty names in advance.

I don’t know anything and I don’t even have an interview but in past cycles, acceptances for rush came out 2 weeks + 2 days after your interview (so if you interviewed 9/30, your acceptance day would be 10/16!) BUT take it with a grain of salt because I know nothing and I am nothing and I’m just going based on history.
