sent in my primary on 5/28, verified on 6/9, and received Rush's secondary on 7/9

How long did it take you guys to get the secondary after applying?

I was verified before 6/26 so my primary was sent that day, got this secondary on 7/9!

Sent them my app like 7/10 I think so I'm also waiting & wondering the same

I wrote about 1,000 characters for each of two experiences I covered

I think you're getting trolled because II means interview invite (and i assume you're talking about getting a secondary). Hard to say if you should be concerned, but Rush does a pre-secondary screen for mission fit (this is on some podcast online)

I looked up the pre-reqs and it said AP english doesn't count for English.... and i already submitted the secondary. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

This is true, and they are strict about the requirements for all of their prerequisites. You can also use a different writing-intensive class that you took during college in its place, but this would require you to email the office for permission to resubmit your application with a class that satisfies the requirement.

Can we please talk about how Rush changed the wording for their pre-reqs AGAIN? Like, this used to be one of my top schools, but now I am just mad... They shouldn't be allowed to change the requirements MULTIPLE times during the application cycle.

This is what they now say on MSAR and on their website as of 8/21: "While prerequisites do not expire, applicants must be engaged in basic science coursework within 5 years of application."

Did they used to require non-stat math? Only math class I've ever taken was a 'stats' that doesnt fulfill their app. Should I submit just in case or would that just be a donation?

it seems like above discussions some people waited over around a month, but im in the same boat and verified 7/31.

rush also does holistic screening i believe. that's at least what i was told when somebody called their admissions office

Oh that's odd. Even after they started sending out secondaries, I decided to add Rush in AMCAS one night and received my secondary the next morning at around 10am eastern.

i don't know the exact date, but it was mid-july

mine was like the week we were able to submit primaries.
