sent in my primary on 5/28, verified on 6/9, and received Rush's secondary on 7/9
Are the secondaries the same as last year? If not, can someone paste the prompts, thank you!
Rush Medical College is located on Chicago’s Near West Side and serves a diverse patient population. We seek to train physicians who can connect with patient populations with whom they may not share similar experiences. Tell us about a life experience that has broadened your own world view or enhanced your ability to understand those unlike yourself and what you learned from this experience. (Max 1000 characters)
Tell us about an experience within a healthcare environment that revealed the complexity of caring for others. How did your understanding evolve through reflection, observation, or continued engagement, and what did you learn about the responsibilities of medicine? (Max 1000 characters)
Some commitments grow deeper the longer we remain involved. Tell us about an experience that required sustained engagement with others. What drew you to it initially, what kept you engaged, and how did it influence the way you think about caring for others, serving communities, social responsibility, or contributing to something larger than yourself? (Max 1000 characters)
Advancing knowledge often begins with curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to question what is already known. Tell us about an experience, project, or question that demanded sustained inquiry from you. Where did it lead, and how did it shape the way you think about discovery, innovation, or lifelong learning? (Max 1000 characters)
Describe an experience that required you to persist, adapt, or rethink your approach in order to create meaningful progress. What kept you engaged, and how did the experience influence the way you approach leadership, accountability, or future challenges? (Max 1000 characters)
Do you have direct patient care/contact experience beyond shadowing/observing? Answering "yes" demonstrates you have had active interactions with patients and/or clinical participation in their continuum of care.
List and describe, in detail, each experience below. While activities can parallel those listed on the AMCAS application, the narratives should not. Instead, focus on detailing the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities you learned and applied during these experiences. Additionally, estimate the proportion of each role that was spent interfacing with patients. (you fill in the experience name, start and end dates, proportion of role spent interfacing with patients (I think the options were 10, 25, 50, 75, 90%) and get a seemingly unlimited description).

I think you're getting trolled because II means interview invite (and i assume you're talking about getting a secondary). Hard to say if you should be concerned, but Rush does a pre-secondary screen for mission fit (this is on some podcast online)
