Does anyone know if they call about acceptances? Or is it just a portal update

Just a portal update from what I've seen in posts from past years

I just checked my portal to see a new section titled "Application Checklist" with a message saying I need to provide "Official Proof of Completion: Biochemistry" but there isn't a place to submit the proof. I haven't gotten an II or heard anything from RFU since submitting my secondary at the beginning of August--does anyone know what this means/is anyone else seeing this message?

I interviewed with them and just checked and don’t see that message. Maybe they’re reviewing your file/considering for an interview and are requesting the proof?

Try emailing admissions to clarify and see if they can help!

Thank you for your reply! I just called and the admissions officer said that applicants can upload proof once they are invited to interview/are accepted... I'm not sure if it means anything at this point

Hope that means some good news coming your way!

Check the portal regularly to see if you get an II, I didn’t get an email about mine.

Can anyone shed some light on this RFU Form I have. So I logged in to my portal (Post II) and under forms I now see a new Required one named- "CMS - Allopathic Medicine Alternate List Confirmation".

No email or anything and when I click it, I get this;

Please select one:

YES, I accept the alternate list. Accordingly, please place my name on the alternate list for the Doctor of Medicine program for the entering 2027 class. I understand that if a seat opens in the class that I may be offered admission as late as the first day of class. I understand further that the Chicago Medical School does not accept any updates, including letters of intent, unless it is in regard to felonies, misdemeanors, institutional actions, or military discharges

NO, I decline the alternate list. As such, do not place my name on the alternate list for the Doctor of Medicine program for the entering 2027 class. As a result of this decision, I understand that this action will withdraw my application from all consideration.

Not sure if this is just something everyone signs post II to indicate they are willing to be on the waitlist, OR this is a message indicating I am officially waitlisted.

Thank you!!

Seems like it might be a WL from previous years’ posts.

Can I ask what date you interviewed?

Has anyone else received anything like this?
