my prediction is around 10/22 or 10/23
I have no evidence of this it is purely vibes

I’m delusionally hoping for the 15th based on pure vibes hopes and dreams 😭
genuinely going insane waiting, any other 9/30 interviewers here??
Per the MSAR the yield rate from interviews is about 15%
95 slots with 623 interviews given
For reference SUNY downstate a public school has about a 20% yield rate
UCSF has a 30% yield rate
Note that it doesn't count all the over admits/wl; probably close to a 20% conversion or something for quinnipiac
So yeah, this 80% yield rate might be a marketing lie to get more applicants or something

I don’t think so. I think they have to offer extra acceptances because so many end up going elsewhere explains a huge part of their numbers judging by their “please come here” comments and private school price tag and lack of a home hospital and research.

I agree, every school does over admit since they plan for some people to withdraw their apps.
The degree to that differs pretty wildly from low tier to high tier. Not to mention the added waitlists.
It's still pretty absurd to think that they accept 480 students for a class of 95.
Even assuming that they accept 140 students which is over 150% of their class it's still under 30 percent yield
not to mention the waitlist and priority waitlists
