this may be a stupid question but...

on OSU's website they mention three decisions: rejection, acceptance, and deferral. i got my decision today and it is waitlisted. i know there is a difference between waitlisted and deferral, so I am wondering if OSU is using them interchangeably and if other people received this decision as well

I am in the same boat as you, 90% sure they are the same thing, seems like the definitions are interchangeable and the true three outcomes are accepted, alternate list, and rejection.

I interviewed for the community medicine track (CMT)

Does anyone know what the timeline for a decision is? or what it has been in the past?

maybe not the most helpful but PCT timeline is February so I imagine it could be similar for CMT

Does anyone who got accepted know by when we have to click decline or accept on the respond to offer section of the portal? Do we have to do this within 2 weeks?
