I interviewed on Monday (10/26), and they gave us 4pm on 11/19 as a deadline for our admissions decision but I know they review every day after interviews and release decisions every 2 weeks, so could it come sooner? If anyone else has already gotten their decision I'd appreciate your input and how this timeline was for you post-interview

The DOJ found that they had a seperate pathway or a side door where they admitted students without screening or an interview . Maybe they are making some changes. I don't know. But they are so quiet. Or maybe people are getting interviews and I don't know it

So I was waitlisted, but I am a little confused. Did anyone get a deferred decision, or are waitlisted and deferred the same thing?

when did you interview? also waitlisted means they may cosnider if spots open, defer is like they set your app to the side but may come back to it

2 questions:

1) Anyone know how much movement happens from the waitlist historically. I was waitlisted on 10/15 and was wondering if I should have any hope.

2) Anyone know if OSU is one of those schools that likes contact? I was waitlisted but was thinking about reaching out to adcom about setting up a tour, maybe reaching out to research professors, etc. Thoughts?
