This is totally fair, but I had connections to Tally, FL, and FSU! Just wanted to give the OOS people hope who have an interest in FSU!

Bro I’m Ngl they are prob URM (no hate at all)
nope:)
anonymous:
bro no hate but do u actually have a 495 2.8 ?
you'll never know ;)
how come FSU is ranked much lower than the other FL schools and pretty low in general? low research output maybe?
tawakkul:
read above genius.
editing to add - you keep saying “statistically easier” without actually showing a statistic that proves that. a lower average MCAT is not the same thing as a higher acceptance chance. black matriculants fell 20.5% from 2021 to 2024, and hispanic fell 9.6%. should I now claim that proves admissions became “statistically harder” for them? obviously not. that would be same stat cherry picking you are doing.
if only you could be URM to get the real "statistically easier" experience

low research output is a factor yeh, also it leans more into a state and rural underdeveloped medicine thing, which will rank them lower as they arent on the cutting edge of medicine.

what about the process are you disagreeing with? your argument is all over the place and you keep simply harping on a SINGLE metric. a 508 and a 512 tells you nothing about what else is on a student's application and alone are not enough to make a decision...
if student A has a 512, physician parents, did not work during college, used private MCAT preparation, completed 150 hours of service, and limited rural or underserved involvement, while B has a 508, had parents who did not attend college, worked 25 hours per week during college, had no private MCAT preparation, completed 1,500 hours of service, and tons of commitment to rural and underserved communities who is the better candidate?
