Are you really URM? Because earlier, you said, and I quote, “that makes sense, regular people have to work 10x harder just because WE are asian or white…” If you’re URM, why would you say “we”? Unless there’s 2 people with the same pink anonymous?

URM students make up low percentages in almost every student body, especially when split apart. A 508 clearly demonstrates they understand the material. Obviously if a black student comes from a school/background with a lot of resources, a 508 is not to seem like much of an accomplishment compared to a black student who came from a lot less, which schools ACTUALLY pay attention to. And schools don't just look at all students together. They split them into several buckets and ca compare their qualifications to other people with a similar profile. Schools aren't just building a student body they're making a work force. If the black student is clearly competent through their academics and extracurricular then who cares?? We need black doctors and if they are qualified and work hard I don't see the issue if there's 10x more ORMS around. A 508 vs a 512 has never been found to have a significant direct relationship to patient outcomes. Honestly the MCAT in GENERAL has not been found to have a direct correlation to patient outcomes. This process by nature is not fair like pls dead this convo.
