yes and yes
have any re-applicants who were waitlisted a prior cycle from Hofstra received an II from them this cycle?
for those who just scheduled their interview, do you mind me asking when the earliest date available was? I'm debating rescheduling my early december date but wasn't sure if the next available was months out
Hofstra will be sending out acceptances starting December 1 right?? For those who interviewed - do you think an update letter is required?

probably not because they used MMI for interviews (meaning they're likely using a points threshold for admissions) but if you want to send no harm in doing so

MMI is designed different from traditional interviews to be less of a pass/fail vibe check and more a standardized score they can use to evaluate applicants. Seems like for most MMI schools there might be some subjective measures used to shape the class but for most applicants they use a points system taking into account score from primary, secondary, LORs, stats, and interview. I'm not on admissions so I can't confirm this but it seems like the consensus on MMI

agreed! it is based on points and a strict rubric so trying to make it as quantitative as possible. however, I know some schools like stanford, even with an MMI, accept update letters so no harm sending, just check to see school policy first.
