I feel like these essays are basically asking the same thing:

Explain why the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is a good fit for your medical education journey? (250 words)

“The School of Medicine, in a culture of community, scholarship and innovation, is dedicated to inspiring promising students to lead and transform medicine for the betterment of humanity.” How do you feel you would contribute to the Zucker School of Medicine’s mission and values and where do you see this taking you in the future? (250 words)

How are you guys approaching these differently??

1. Simply why Hofstra

2. Talked about an EMS initiative I led for like 200 words. Then last 50, related it to like specific student interest group they have going on and how I’d contribute to that.

I received mine at 11:40-ish, if that helps. It's only 8/4 though you're absolutely not cooked yet! Sending good vibes <3

I have my casper scheduled for aug 11, I got an email today saying my application was complete and in review, does this mean I'm eligible for an interview or do they need my casper score first?

Hey, my interview was fine. I definitely struggled with the MMI format but did much better with the traditional interview. The forum from last year was very helpful for me in preparing. I would recommend checking that out. Lots of great advice and insight into the types of questions asked

Just jumping in here after interviewing last year- very run of the mill MMI type questions, there's plenty of free resources online. It is more important how you answer the question and your rationale vs the actual answer itself (unless you say something heinous lol). Make sure you leave time at each station for some back and forth, they have follow up questions. Traditional section is also fairly low stress, they have full access to your file and have time for questions depending on the pace so definitely be prepared for that. Some of my interviewers were not the most enthusiastic and were clearly doing other things, but I hope you have better luck!
