I know some people use these types of essays for "why this school" or to elaborate on activities (like write essays), any thoughts? unsure because it also says "Most students leave this blank."
i did write one, i wrote about a skill i have with a story that highlights it. i figured it cant hurt to show something else

Careful now: when they say most people leave it blank, they mean it as optional. I got accepted without writing anything here. If you include meaningless info or redundant info, then it will end up hurting you compared to if you just left it blank. So think hard about whether you have anything meaningful to include. It is completely fine to leave this blank if there is nothing else to say.

For the question "Submitting Health Professions Advisory Committee letter", do letter packets count as committee letters? My advising committee compiled my letters and sent a packet. What option should I select for this: No committee or advisor letter available or I have or plan to submit a committee letter?

I put that option for my letter packet, hopefully that's correct lol. Because the second option lumps together committee packet AND letter packet: "OR, 1 committee letter or a letter packet, which typically comes from your university's pre-health advising office..." I felt like it was fine.
Has anyone gotten an application complete email? I submitted everything a week ago, but nothing yet.

check the portal cuz for me they completed my app on the portal but took 2 days to send me an email lol

they dont send emails for completion to my knowledge

They do send an email with subject line "Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine; Application Complete"
