I JUST GOT AN II! This is my top school!
For the photo requirements, does passport-style mean no smiling?

YAY! I submitted a headshot and was told that was fine when I asked so I wouldn't worry too much

I have a professional headshot (not 2x2 passport-style though) and the background is dark/gray-ish. Do you think that would be fine or best to just go get a passport photo taken?

That should be totally fine. The headshot I submitted didn't even have a solid color background LOL but I figured the value of submitting immediately and getting an earlier/more favorable for my schedule interview slot was worth it. They just want to know what you look like before interview day. So long as your appearance hasn't changed dramatically since the photo was taken, you're totally fine, per a current M1 I chatted with about it

same mine literally had trees in the background, I just wanted to get the interview slot quickly. But looking back, I don't think they fill up that much since there are only 4 sessions to choose from and those sessions are within 4 days of each other so u r not rly missing out by submitting a little late

Mine was honestly super chill! Both interviewers were very friendly, knew my application thoroughly and had some questions (nothing crazy) but mostly just wanted to chat. Best of luck, you got this!!
