+1 OOS MD Secondary

I'm also OOS for MD but haven't received my secondary. I realized I definitely unsubscribed from some Cornell promotional email lists... No shot I accidentally blocked it, right? Do they send in waves even if I was verified super early?

Also haven't received a secondary invite and was verified early June. Assuming they just send in waves and we should hopefully get the emails sometime soon

I payed and submitted my secondary, and I know it said it may take 2 business days to get a confirmation email, but right now the only indication that it was sent is the word "finished" written in gray at the bottom of the home page. If I click "view application," it seems like I can still edit it. Can anyone clarify for me? Also is there supposed to be a separate link for prereqs or has that changed this cycle? Saw something about it on a previous thread. TIA.

yeah a few were sent out today. based on sdn they're Rs for mstp but there could be more for regular MD that people didn't post

Last years SDN indicates it's typically MSTP applications that are rejected this early.

Did you get a 'complete' email notification? I submitted a week ago, still have not got the 'complete' email.

Also, what's this 'Also is there supposed to be a separate link for prereqs or has that changed this cycle?',? I don't remember seeing an extra link. Thanks!

From last year's SDN, someone mentioned submitting writing sample to Cornell. What is it? Is this required or recommended this year as well?

i got a “complete” email the day after i submitted. and i saw somewhere (maybe sdn, i can’t remember) that in previous cycles, people had to enter prereqs but i didn’t have to anywhere. just wanted to make sure i wasn’t missing something but i think we’re good.

Admitted last cycle and didnt submit any writing sample or recall anything.

I was verified a week ago but haven't received a secondary yet, anyone know if this is normal?

i dont think so, i got mine in 1 business day (verified friday got it monday)

hey I forgot to add my LORs to them before, so they sent me an email saying that I had to do it before they will would evaluate my app for a secondary. but it's been a while since I've assigned my LORs and still nothing from them?

they can be, i guess? the first one i interpreted as a critical thinking + resilience focused prompt, and the second i interpreted as a empathy + diversity prompt

anyone else get a confirmation email super late? I submitted my secondary 08/02 and just got the confirmation email today (08/18). is that normally how long it takes? i didn't even know they sent out confirmation emails until i got this one today 😭

i submitted mine early july and got mine early august 😭. cornell is my top choice too

omg thats so random, the other op who answered me got it in two days. were you missing any LORs at the time? i had everything set so idk why it took a little over 2 weeks for me

everything was set for me when i submitted. i figured it was like harvard and they don't send a confirmation email

on the portal once you upload the photo and form, it says they will send another email to schedule it within 3 business days :)
