Hey! Sorry they didn't really give me any indication of whether or not they will be extending additional acceptances but I'll update the thread if I hear anything. This site has been immensely helpful so would love to pay it forward however I can

Thanks! would really appreciate any info you are able to share. Also did you send any updates recently (like since May/June)?

+1 A at the very last minute. Absolutely speechless-- for anyone looking at this thread in future years know that it is possible!

did they email you in the morning or what time?

I got the email around 9:30 this morning. My strategy was basically just keeping them informed of how I was doing throughout the cycle periodically even if what I had to say wasn't classically "update-worthy" like a pub or a new job or anything like that. To that end I sent an update after getting waitlisted in Feb, a letter of intent in April before WL movement started in earnest, a follow-up in May telling them about my waitlist/PTE situation, and another follow-up in June reiterating a commitment to matriculate should I be accepted. I'm also local to the NYC area so I tried to emphasize the fact that if they accepted me last minute I would accept and be able to transition pretty smoothly, I think that as you get towards the really late innings (like mid-June and onwards) they start becoming more interested in people that will for sure accept so that they can fill any last minute openings with near-guarantees.

Hope this helps!!

Hey! Thanks for the update. Do you have any idea if WL movement is still going/what is the chat looking like at this point?

Hard for me to say at this point but it kind of seems like WL movement is done... I haven't seen anyone new join the slack since I got there.
