I just emailed asking for an update given my 6/1 CTE, and they sent me back the same response they sent to everyone: "We appreciate your continued interest in Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC). WCMC’s waitlist movement can last throughout the summer; as our wait list is not ranked, waitlisted applicants are re-reviewed when openings occur. We are unable to give specific times of when individual applicants will be re-reviewed. You may continue to send any updates or communications about the waitlist to this e-mail address."

Is everyone still waiting going to start sending their CTE deadline? Mine is June 10, who is here longer than that?

Honestly so fed up with the admissions process here. They waitlisted everyone who didn’t get the initial A and initially accept students that don’t even want to attend Cornell. Then they pull people from the WL who showed zero interest in coming to Cornell post-ii and they string the rest of us along. There is false hope about being “reviewed” when openings occur which seems to be false. Definitely pulling based on some arbitrary categorization of applicants. They don’t care if you actually want to come to their school.

i definitely dont agree with their process given the ambiguity and definite arbitrary categorization, but personally i did send an LOI and other updates when i had any. just n=1 tho!

could be that as we get later into the summer and they want to fill their class fast, they will strongly consider those with LOI? Hopefully lol, rooting for yall still WLW!!
