Do we think this is it for WL movement?

I know someone who only let go of a spot yesterday, so I don't think so. Cornell is accepting down a list/for class composition reasons, and not even considering who sent intent (I and multiple ppl I know didn't intent Cornell and got WL --> A), so the waves will likely continue into the summer.

Thank you for responding. Out of curiosity what is the point of an unranked WL if they are just accepting down a list / to build a class. Is it just simply a numbers game to keep an MCAT/GPA average at this point. Figured they would want students who show interest in attending

How did you find out there’s a list? Is it purely stats based?

I don't actually know, just wanted to clarify - but I was just guessing based on how they handled it that it could be a list, or a few different lists based on class composition needs. I am mainly taking a guess based on the fact that LOIntent seems to not matter at all here. Sorry for the confusion!

Do you plan to accept and attend? How many people do you know recently got the A but are deciding not to go?

Yeah I totally agree. I wish LOIs mattered more, truly. I myself felt bad holding up a spot for several days waiting on financial aid and stuff but I also did withdraw a WL A a little while back. They still need to give those A's - but it will take longer for sure.

I declined my offer! In total I know 2 others, including one who withdrew just yesterday or today so have hope!
