So no new offers off of the waitlist today right? Everything that came through was from last week? Meaning the rest of us WLers will likely have to wait till mid-May?

Didn't someone report an A yesterday?

Trying to understand how this process works so are first rounds of WL to A over and now we wait until May 15 for spots to open they don’t accept it?

I have no insider info so take what I say with a grain of salt. But after looking at previous years they have sent acceptances before the previous wave needs to make a decision. For example they have sent acceptances on 5/3 and sent additional acceptances on 5/10. So fingers crossed we hear more soon. Anyone have better insight?

Take what I say also with a grain of salt, but I thought they emailed once when they sent out WL offers maybe that it was a rolling WL. So maybe if ppl aren't taking the full 2 weeks to decline the offer they just immediately go to the next one?

Out of curiosity does anyone know how Cornell uses the unranked WL? Is this so they can stratify students into categories (I.e. high stat service applicant). And then if someone drops in that category then they look there and decide who they will offer the A to? Or is unranked just a way for them to consider everyone for any open position and to allow students to demonstrate interest. I’m still baffled that they sent an A to people who didn’t even fill out the form. Makes me wonder how much they care about our interest vs just boosting their MCAT average and prestige.

Accepted student - it's hard to see movement in our slack right now, hopefully if we get a groupme going soon it will be indicative
