"Washington applicants interested in the Spokane campus for Foundations will interview November 30-December 3, 2026 and January 4-7, 2027. TRUST applicants will interview in January."
They say on their website that they review in order of cohort, so you'll be screened later than Seattle applicants regardless of when you submitted.
A little late but does anyone have any advice on answering: Why WWAMI? Describe how your preparation, service, and career goals align with the cohort that you are applying to [i.e., WY, AK, MT, ID, WA (Seattle or Spokane)]? Since I am OOR i would be Seattle cohort, but I am kinda confused if this should only be Seattle focused (what it would mean for my foundational years) or if it should be a general why UW, or if i am totally misinterpreting the question

don’t want to answer for OP but this was a question on the secondary!!
Does anyone know what day(s) of the week UW usually sends out decisions? Especially those who have gotten the continued consideration

It shouldn’t be Seattle focused or general why UW either. When they ask Why WWAMI? They’re really asking about why the WWAMI program specifically and its aspects, since it’s a pretty unique program dedicated to training people who (often are from and) want to serve in this specific region, so whether that’s opportunities in Seattle or opportunities to serve the region or specific classes at UW you’re interested in, you should show you did research into the program. The Why WWAMI? question is obviously to cover all cohorts, but it is also written in a way to indicate that if you focus too much on a single dimension especially on a surface level so like only talking about Seattle proper, that could indicate to them that you don’t know enough about their program. Their adcoms are really good at figuring out if you’re genuinely interested in their program and learning and practicing in this region.
If you are OOR you already have a less than 1% chance of being selected for an interview, so if you’re adding this school last minute because you’re worried about how your cycle is going so far, really think about if you genuinely resonate with this program and if you will be able to demonstrate that effectively. They have tons of information on their website and it is a very well organized website too.
Good luck!
