I have heard from friends who are currently enrolled at UW in the Seattle cohort that in previous cycles they would often end up adding on more interview dates for the Seattle cohort to interview everyone they were interested in!

Earliest interview dates according to their site were end of September, specifically September 23rd, we'll probably see more updates after this Thursday 10/15, but I think the UWSOM applicant pool is not necessarily the most active on admit/sdn being so heavily region biased.

Does anyone who interviewed 9/25 (or around that date) remember what they said about decision timing? I forgot to write it down and completely forgot everything in the post-interview relief haha

Any OOR applicants receive interviews yet? Mission Statement received 08/03, Mission Statement submitted 08/07, 2ndary 09/14 and complete 09/18

yes i believe so. none of the other cohorts have interviewed yet. interview dates for each cohort are on the UWSOM admissions website. its just seattle between now and december. spokane will be next and runs from late november-january. all the other WWAMI sites are jan-feb.

Are OOR applicants part of the Seattle cohort?

Yeah, I think we can only be considered for Seattle. The last interview week for OOR and other Seattle applicants is early December, so hopefully we hear some good news in the coming days/weeks

Can someone help me understand why there are 3 acceptances already at UW before October 15th? There is no Early Decision program from my understanding, so I'm confused. Congrats to those accepted.
