They may also be slower this year bc interviews are in person. Idk if they are changing how many people they are interviewing bc of this, but I imagine they are. I lucked out and got an interview but I’m going for one of the Idaho spots anyways. I do know one in state person that has gotten the invite.

I'm going for an Idaho spot too! Though tbh I will probs decline the interview if I get an A anywhere else I have interviewed. Haven't met many other Idahoans, are you at all concerned/unhappy about the requirement to practice in ID afterwards?

It’s not my favorite since I like having the flexibility to choose where I want practice, but I also don’t mind Idaho. There are areas (northern Idaho) that I wouldn’t feel as comfortable practicing for various reasons, but I have a lot of family in southern Idaho and I don’t mind some of the hospital systems where I grew up.

Does anyone else feel like the U is especially slow in the cycle? Or do they just mass reject in March?

looks like they are pretty on par to their pace last year. Typically don't send out too many rejections. That beings said they do typically start w regional apps and then in state and then oos. so keep that in mind.

Anyone know if IS interviews are picking up? I don't know any Utah residents that have gotten an interview which I find surprising. Like do those pick up in Oct/Nov ?
