IS rejection received yesterday. NGL this one hits hard. 513 MCAT and 3.95 GPA from top 20 undergrad college. Felt competitive to at least get II but didn't even make it through the first filter apparently. General mission so maybe that's more competitive than the published stats make it seem but idk. Seemed like best chance for MD being IS.

I’m a repplicant and they rejected me last year even though i graduated with a masters degree from the med school AND was a TA for both human anatomy and physiology. Spoke to professors that were also members of adcom and they seemed confused but it might just have been cope😭 umn makes no sense friend but it definitely did suck

I was rejected last year as an IS with 4.0/522...Did you take a gap year? I feel like they favor gap year applicants unfortunately.

I was also rejected last year and received IS II this cycle. The thing that helped me the most was submitting secondary ASAP. They also offer a zoom office hour which was super helpful for reapplying advice!

Guys, what is the secondary supplemental thing, and how should I prepare? My interview is in 3 weeks so I feel like I should get it done soon.
