has anyone attended the wednesday office hours? what are their purpose? can we ask about our application status there?

Seeing the As as someone who interviewed early :(((

But I think based off last year it seems that they release As for August interviews until December, and even those As that are sent out seem to go to people that ultimately matriculate to other T20 schools - I'm just going to stay positive for now and hope my time comes soon :P

I did not interview early at all so definitely hold out hope. They're going in a really wacky order.

I am in the same boat as you - interviewed 8/31 and trying to hold out hope for December. But I really do understand it's sooo hard to not know when news is coming. Sending positive vibes your way!
