does anybody that's interviewed already have advice? mine is coming up and i'm very nervous. i would appreciate any help at all!
very very relaxed in both for me. Both knew my application inside and out - like were literally quoting me in off-the-cuff conversation lol.
I know everyone says this but this one really felt like the move was to be myself, talk about what I'm excited about and enjoy an interesting chat.
do we think UCLA could send out any acceptances today? they sent them on tuesday last week...

Conversely, I had the opposite experience. One of my interviews were kind, but the other was quite stressful and they asked me for my MCAT despite the interview being open file. I think it's hard to predict what you're gonna get. Neither interview was absolutely horrible though. The first was nice, but not at all conversational as there were pre-planned questions, and the second was difficult but doable.

Yeah, fair point. I think the downside to traditional interviews is that it's really up to the person you get and their style/how well their day is going so far lol. Also being free-form means on some level they actually get to see your unpracticed self, which is a little scary in itself, as opposed to the interviews where it's just pre-set question after pre-set question.

Exact same here
thanks everyone for all the feedback! did they ask any particularly hard ethics or healthcare systems questions? I think that's what I'm most nervous about and want to prepare if so (also feel free to not answer if you guys can't disclose! sorry if that's the case)

Just do your best. We did not have the insights you are receiving and asking for, and it would not be fair to others for you to have an advantage. The interviews are testing if you can think on your feet
