nope, it was a pretty standard traditional interview with a few behavioral questions so definitely have a few stories prepped beforehand and know your application well

Stupid q but what’s behavioural health?

oops, I just meant behavioral questions. Questions like "tell me about a time you...xyz." I just edited my comment above to clarify that

I received AP credit for Gen Chem as well as the lab. I am aware that the lab is not accepted, but I am curious as to whether my biochem lab will cover the requirement.

I received an interview today, but the earliest available interview for me is January 17th. Am I basically interviewing for the waitlist ? Considering its 3+ months out

nope. their admissions page explicitly states they don't even begin sending acceptances til feb, ur totally fine. i believe they get a lot of apps and frontload many interviews so the slots for the fall fill up very quick, so it's more of a logistics issue than an admissions one

also, getting an II for a january interview is VERY different from getting an II in january. you're in a great spot its a good sign that u got an II in september, that's quite early and bodes well that it caught their attention. breathe and enjoy the wait for the winter 🧘

Ngl 95% of the class comes from the alternate list. what they do is first accepting the crazy high stat people in december and then throw everybody else onto the AL. but a lot of high stat ppl have As elsewhere so they turn it down so then they start pulling people off the AL

COMPLETELY agree here, I got a II here for like nov and I think its very reassuring that my app isnt totally a bust yk. also, there is SO much time, prep for that interview so you can kill it
