Congrats, I had an interview with them last cycle, it was actually very conversational, my interviewer was super chill, didn't ask me why medicine, or tell me about yourself, he did ask me about my MCAT which was 509, about my A- in Physics, and why I chose my undegrad school, then we talked me about my work (I'm a MA). I unfortunately, got WL'ed I think due to my lower MCAT becasue I really thought the interview went well. Hoping for another invite this cycle since it's my #1 school. What's your MCAT if you don't mind sharing?

I'm in the same situation as you rn. I received an interview invite very early in the cycle last year. My stats were at or above median level for sbu (517 MCAT and 3.90 GPA) and the interviews went pretty well. I also ended up getting waitlisted. Hopefully we get an invite very soon, this is eating away at me lol.

i know someone with a 4.0 and 527 that went to sbu and they didn’t get an interview. stats aren’t close to anything for a lot of schools unfortunately
