This is reading tea leaves atp. A lot of people don’t have the incentive to update that they got rejected from Stanford on this website so very well could be underreporting. Furthermore it’s only ~10% of the applicants on this website so it’s a small sample.

However, saying all of this, yes if you aren’t rejected you are still in the running and that’s all that matters.

how do u know it’s only 10% of applicants on this site? isn’t it getting more popular?

hi all! would anyone be able to share some advice on how they prepared for the MMI and/or what they wished they focused on more? i've seen so many posts saying how tough it was so i would appreciate any insight into how to best prepare. thank you!

MSAR tells you to the total number of applicants from prior years (a little under 10k) and this site tracks how many people report for Stanford (a little under a 1,000) . I’m assuming a similar number of applicants again this year for Stanford.

Also I say a small sample in my original post because it’s going to a skewed sample of people who are most likely more competitive - aka higher MCAT and GPA, which is what people mostly assume is the main factor for admissions.

However, high MCAT and GPA are correlated with outstanding applicants, so it’s more likely their ECs & story that got them in once they have sufficient

in interview day checklist it says "Confirm your intent to interview by completing the registration on Zoom (link below). Please register as soon as possible and no later than 3 days prior to the interview day. Your Zoom link will appear below:" but a zoom link does not appear for me. Am I missing something? My interview is next week

Can I email a letter of intent after my interview? Or should my one-week post-interview update in the portal be the letter of intent?

neither, the portal says that’s only appropriate if you’re placed on the WL

they said letter of intents have no impact on decisions. you can but at my interview they said they wont consider it until after you are put on a WL.
