in the same boat.
316 people on here haven't gotten an II or a rejection. 316 people won't get interviews, though. that's how i've been thinking about it.
This is reading tea leaves atp. A lot of people don’t have the incentive to update that they got rejected from Stanford on this website so very well could be underreporting. Furthermore it’s only ~10% of the applicants on this website so it’s a small sample.
However, saying all of this, yes if you aren’t rejected you are still in the running and that’s all that matters.

Sorry meant to reply to the post one above!

Does no R (MD) thus far mean anything? I've seen other threads referencing that surviving the R waves for Stanford and Uchicago might be indicative of likely II.
Depends, are you PSTP or regular MD?

What's the difference in terms of likelihood?

What's the difference in terms of likelihood?
Isn't PSTP acceptance contingent on MD acceptance anyway? What is your question exactly? I don't know if Stanford publishes data on the number of PSTP II's or A's vs regular MD II's or A's though.
I would bet that you can get rejected from PSTP and get into MD, both at the II stage and the official acceptance stage, but I don't actually know this for certain

No one is going to know the answer to this...
Does anyomne know how much emphasis stanford weights on the interview?

Judging by the 30-40% post-II acceptance it is def important(compared to 50+% but unless someone on the adcom can comment on how much they consider it while they are deliberating no one can say for sure

Yes okay that makes sense I was just curious what the "are you PSTP or regular MD?" would change about their answer. And I'm pretty sure "you can get rejected from PSTP and get into MD" is correct :)
