what options for specialties does it give you on the secondary?

also, do you think its possible to do joint residnecy programs like IM-Ped or IM-ED etc. ? or just the standalone ones

Peds, OB/GYN, and IM -- they got rid of Gen Surg this year I believe. As for Med-Peds and EM-Med, I am not entirely sure. You won't have a directed pathway to residency at NYU Langone Health and those two combined specialties tend to lean more in-patient than out which doesn't really match GLISOM's mission. You can do FM though, just apply through IM track as they mention on the app.
