uncle:
Wait so NYU gives out interviews in order of strength not submission timeline? Also do u know if they even read ur app now? Or if its just like their ai thing that assigns u a score.
Sorry if that was too much of a blanket statement. The first people to get interviews are not necessarily the best applicants. There is no magical ranked list of who is best to worst 1 through 100. I more so meant that if you are one of the qualified applicants and you didn't get an interview in the first wave they haven't forgotten about you. They may give you an interview in the next wave as they move down their list of qualified applicants.
Instead of a ranked list 1-100 and then 101 gets an invite think more like everyone who is deserving is put in some order (could very well be arbitrary, it doesn't really matter because they will still interview everyone they think they should interview) and they just give interviews in batches down that order.
My point is : DON'T STRESS. If it's meant to be, it will be.
Has anyone had an interview yet. If so, how did it go?

uhh does anyone know if nyu will still be sending out large waves of iis (not like sporadic one-off ones but genuine waves).. thanks! might js be me being neurotic asf lol
518 MCAT ORM just got interview.
So happy to get a II but I realize it will be an uphill battle. Does anyone have any insights into the NYU admissions process beyond what is easy to find online or any good resources for prepping? Also, I would like to attend the information session, but I have a job. Should I intend to take the day off?

Not sure about this, but you've got plenty of interviews (and I mean PLENTY) so no need to feel neurotic. You'll be okay lol

As someone who interviewed last year, the best piece of advice I can give is to let things fall into place and not focus on uncontrollable factors. Statistically speaking, there should be more NYU IIs being sent out between now and December, but even getting an interview is not a guarantee of acceptance (most people who interview at NYU will get rejected). You already have a lot of great IIs! Focus on those for now, and if NYU's meant to be, then it's meant to be.
when did the II email come in just now?
