If we dont get the phone call then when do we expect to get some sort of email (either accepted or released to regular)? Thursday or Friday?

Yes! She said they give the interviewers 12 hours to call before they send out emailed decisions.

How do you know it's 12 hours? That doesn't seem like a realistic window for them to call.

I'm just relaying what Asha said. She said they only give them 12 hours, that's why some don't receive a phone call, they just get the email.
