We are competing against each other for a spot, so no.
Bro you're applying to a career built on empathy, teamwork, and caring for your fellow peers. Yeah it's competitive but this isn't a good way to go about it...

You don't compete against other people when you're both in an interview. They literally don't pick between people when looking at the stack of interviewees every month at MCW

i'm interviewing on friday and getting a little nervous! does anybody have any advice?? would greatly appreciate it!
Overall, my interview last year was fairly laid-back, but I think it depends a lot on your interviewers. My first interview seemed a bit rougher than the second, but that could have been due to initial anxiety. They didn't ask any questions out of the ordinary if you've interviewed elsewhere/have practiced the common questions and have your story bank ready to answer their questions with specific examples. My advisor always told me to be myself; they just want to know who you are and whether that fits with your application. Make sure you're well rehearsed in what you wrote on your application and review it, becuase I had some questions they wanted to know more about a certain experience.
Still waiting on my interview this cycle, but best of luck to you! Remember it's not easy to even make it to this stage. Let me know if you have any more specific questions regarding the school; I am in WI with close ties to the area and have friends who currently attend.
