So we can probably assume about a 100 people prob get interviewed before Oct 15?

Yeah 100 seems right if we take both ED and RD combined, 3 ED dates in August and 3 RD dates in September, with 16 interviews each day. So we have about 500 more spots remaining for interviews.

For those that have already interviewed how do you recommend preparing for it?

My interview was entirely ethics questions. Things like "You are taking an exam during medical school and see a friend of yours using their phone to google answers. You know they couldn't study the night before because of a family medical emergency but also know that what they are doing is wrong. What would you consider when deciding how to handle this situation" (not an actual question but just a good example of the types of things they ask).

By biggest recommendation is practice responding to multiple sides of a problem and keep responses to about 3 minutes max. Most of my interviewers asked at least one follow up question and we were told it should feel somewhat conversational. Bring in personal experiences where it would be relevant to show them more of your personality too rather than just a hyper-formulated response.

You can google common MMI ethics questions and record yourself giving a response and see how you do!

Checked last years acceptances and quite a few received them on 10/17/2025 (Friday) , so may be you will hear from them on Friday 10/16/2026.
