For those who had interviewed with Mayo, do you plan to send Letter of Interest or Letter of Intent before admission is released in Feb, as suggested in their post-interview email?

Per mayo's info session, if mayo is a top 3 choice, then u do letter of interest. If it’s your absolute number one, you do letter of intent. Would advise not doing an Intent unless you actually follow through. Have heard of people getting like blacklisted for residency in the past for not following through …
just got a pre-II hold…is this a soft R? worth sending and update / interest letter?
Just got a hold from Mayo, anyone know if it is a soft R or if there is still a chance?

I got it too. I'm taking it as most likely a rejection with a very small chance of interview in the future. The email said no further info is needed at this time, so I interpreted that as not to send something.
