their emails never make sense...but from my understanding, basically means youre in line for an interview or a rejection. The waiting game has begun.

You’ll probably get yours soon. Don’t think of it as anything special. It’s just bc I submitted the secondary really early that I got this message rn.

“We have received and reviewed your AMCAS Primary and Secondary Applications for admission consideration for the M.D. degree program at Howard University's College of Medicine.  Please be advised that although we are aware students are currently in the process of completing their prerequisites, any outstanding pre-requisite courses must have a letter grade in the "C" range (C+ to C-) or better to be considered a satisfied requirement and completed no later than spring or first summer session to be considered for admission in July 2027. Additionally, we require at least 2 Science, Math, and/or Research Instructor Letters of Recommendation or Committee Letters to be submitted on your behalf, and that if you are missing a required Letter of Recommendation, they should be received no later than January 15, 2027, via AMCAS.  ”

And then the rest was just reminders of the webinar, interview invites being email only, and other contact info that was in other previous emails. Hope this helps!

Does Howard manually complete applications? I did not receive an application complete email after submission.

I think so. I received my completion email the day after I submitted. Today is a holiday though so I don’t think you’ll hear back until tmm
