how does the hst interview differ from the pathways one?

greater/deeper assessment of scientific/technical depth, still 1 on 1 and/or 2 (faculty) on 1, and interview with the hst director of admissions

Do they ask abt like how to perform WB or pcr type shit?

If I had to guess I’d say no. That’s basic bio stuff. I imagine it’s more theoretical about your research, aspirations, and more specific questions about the research you’ve done and advances in your field.

it's not an exam of your nitty gritty technical knowledge that you can find in a class. they want to see how you reason and how you describe your science. reading a textbook won't prep u for the interview
