Anyone who's PCLT gotten an interview yet?

I still have not received an interview. Being a Duke alumni and connections with research there and hours of volunteer work there. It seems like they should be giving interviews to their alumni.

They don't owe anyone anything, there are so many qualified applicants who apply there each year

Im not saying they owe me anything but what I am saying is. You would think they would look are Duke alumni that have deep ties with the school it just seems odd to me that they don't

doesn't duke have a huge pre-med population, I feel like if they interviewed everyone with deep ties there would be no II left. But hope you get the II regardless!!

Duke alumni have a significantly higher rate of receiving an interview. I remember seeing the numbers somewhere, but I can't remember where (maybe Duke's pre-health advising office would have it?). I don't wanna spread misinformation without data to back it up, but I remember it being well into the double digits (definitely way higher than the 8% on admit). Of course, there are so many qualified applicants that most alumni will not receive an interview, but that's how it is at the majority of competitive med schools.

Interviewed a few weeks ago, I cannot believe we won't get decisions until Feb. I loved Duke, loved interview day, loved the other applicants on interview day, really want to go here. How will I sit still for the next 4 months.... </3

For those who interviewed already, did you submit a thank-you letter? Also I remember they said to email it to the admissions team rather than through the portal right?
