If anyone else interviewed late September and were told they were being voted on October 12th in committee, when does the decision come out?
They said they would like to say October 15th but can't promise anything. I'm hoping it is then, but not expecting anything. In last year's cycle results, some ppl got interviews in early September and didn't hear back on acceptance/waitlist until November. So like people have been saying, they come when they come. Nothing we can do unfortunately.

I am not sure if this is a Mandela effect type situation or whatever, but I genuinely remember at the end them saying there’s two different zoom calls - one for the accepted people and one for the waitlisted. And they do zoom calls to explain next steps for both groups. But again my mind could be playing tricks on me!

You remember this from your interview? I remember seeing that on a 2021 forum, but from my understanding they do not have immediate waitlist anymore, its alternate, and the previous cycles only had accepted zoom call. Maybe its different this year?

yes I don’t know from memory what the “not accepted” zoom call is in regards to, waitlist or otherwise, but I remember the last session after my interviews wrapped up, we had a check out thing where faculty told us to not expect anything until October 15. And as we get closer to October 15, there will be two zoom links sent out, one where it’s the “accepted” group and they celebrate or whatever, and the other zoom link where the waitlisted or whatever people are told next steps.
In terms of what link corresponds to what meeting, that’s venturing into the reading tea leaves territory so I got no clue!

Last year it took as much as over a month to get decisions for the October review, so we have time.
